“By ignorance we mistake, and by mistakes we learn”
And boy did I make mistake today. I have finals for my advance swimming class today, but for some not-so-intelligent reason, I worked out my shoulders today. I'm starting to regret that decision.

Raining Fish & Chicken
After a few days of hard work and dedicated meal plans, (not really) Kevin and I finally decided to eat at this one place that we have been meaning to eat at for a while now. It's this really upper-class looking place called Britz. (I think that's what it's called) Anyways, every Saturday, they have an all you can eat buffet for 250 pesos per head (hehe >=] )
and you guys know what that means.
Yep, eating contest time! Bet, 250 pesos again.
They lacked in variety, but it was worth it for 250 I guess. They had rice, roasted chicken, fish fillet, bitter melon (gags), and jello.
After an hour or so, and plates load of chicken bones and fillet sauce, Kevin finally gave up, and I, your fat@$$ hero, rose up again, fist and arm held high, victorious (well, I actually stayed seated for a while)

"Hit you like Pacquiao. Philippines! Philippines!" - Lupe Fiasco
Lupe Fiasco's newest album, LASERS, leaked the other day! So all you Lupe fans out there should definitely check it out. I'm really diggin the tracks (Translation: I like the songs on the album)
Speaking of Pacquiao, another fight is closing in. May 7 is the date, (May 8 in the Philippines), and Vegas ofcourse, is the place to be on that night (and any other night of the year). He's going up against Shane Mosley (past his prime if you ask me). If you guys want free money, bet on pacman, it should be a guaranteed win. And don't worry guys, pacman's getting a haircut. That thing will be off before fight night. (I need a haircut too, these cheap clippers I keep buying keep breaking down on me)
Busy schedule tomorrow; waking up around 4 for a morning run, swimming class from 9 - 11, community service from 12 - 3 or 4, rest and maybe get some advance studying in? And gym time around 5:30 or 6.

"Whoever is winning at the moment will always seem to be invincible." - George Orwell
Right now, junk food seems to be invincible! I'm losing the fight and I'm gradually converting back to my old glutton-like ways. Not good. Starting tomorrow, I promise to go back to my healthy eating diet, you hear that world?! (actually, just the few readers this blog has lol) A promise to myself though is still a promise, and one that I really try to keep.
Other news, I didn't do so good on a pop quiz for my Nursing Care Management class today. I spent zero time studying for that class because I was to busy studying for my semi-final exam for Pharmacology, and what ends up happening??? The exam was moved to tomorrow!! On top of that, the teacher adds a hefty amount of new topics to study for in under a days time. Anyways, I got a 13/20 on the quiz.
This should explain how I felt

Guys, stop studying now or you will definitely lose it!
Just kidding, studying is good, exercise the brain guys!
PS: I took this method straight from a page from Barney. Since girls and adults can't read any small print or any font size under 10, you young gentlemen are safe to hear the truth. The truth is, studying is really hazardous to your health, I was not kidding at all. Do not, I repeat, do not study if you have any value to your health whatsoever. Be smart, don't study.

“He who controls others may be powerful, but he who has mastered himself is mightier still”
Our good friend Jethro from Stockton visited today!! We met up at the mall and man does he have really nice parents. At first glance, we didn't even know it was him, his hair is bangin! (it means "really long" for those people who are not familiar with the vocabulary)
Jethro and his family treated us to an all you can eat sushi buffet. Kevin (my brother) and I had a side bet on who could eat the most.. winner gets 250 pesos.. and well, see for yourself..
PART 1
PART 2
PART 3
PART 4
After eating like kings, we went to go watch "I am number four".
The movie was really good, I recommend you guys watch it if you have not seen it yet.
Movie ends leading us to think that there will be sequals; money making franchise.
Overall, it was a great day =]

"You only have one life to live, but if you live it Right, One is Enough"
Time flies when you're busy . . .
My schedule is packed! I have classes, finals to study for, on top of projects, on top of 56 hours of community service, on top of 8 hour shifts at the hospital, all jammed in one last month.
I just came from a 6am-2pm shift at the ward area at St. Patrick's Hospital. T-i-r-i-n-g.
Sports talk, ummmm, EAST makes up bEAST, because that's exactly what they are right now, beastin! Carmelo and Chauncey to the Knicks, just another big 3. Can't wait for the finals!
Just wanted to update you guys a bit, now I gotta get crackin on a project that's due tomorrow.

"common sense is not so common"
Had to attend a school parade today. (Useless and problematic if you ask me) I mean c'mon guys, Philippines is crowded enough with traffic on the streets, and the parade just made it even worst.
On a different note, Blake Griffin took the dunk contest, kinda disappointed, I was expecting more from him. Stephen Curry took the skills challenge this year. And the West defeated the East with Kobe as the MVP.
Random Fact: A large swarm of desert locusts (Schistocerca gregaria) can consume 20,000 tons (18,160,000 kilograms) of vegetation a day. Why on earth would they want to stick with veggies all day???
